Arrrggghhhh will the pain never cease…. How can a group that was so anti-establishment, be so establishment?
Metallica, the once great band who enjoyed bootlegges of their concerts and such and made decent music, slid down the slippery slope of being rich. After alienating a huge part of their fan base, when they found their new records weren’t selling and blamed it on filesharing, they have came back with a new CD and offered “Free Extra Metallica Stuff Online”. Sorry folks, if you piss of the people that feed you and then offer them some more of your new crappy music online, don’t expect them to welcome you back.
They are all about hyping their new album, St. Anger. A complete DVD of watching them stink up the room while making it is included… OOHHHH No thanks. If I decide that I want to have the cd for some odd reason, I’ll just pirate it off of the many napster clones for free. At least that way I will feel like I am getting my money’s worth.
