After a trip to Big Lots with Mom and Stacey on Sunday, I had lights along the lines of what I had been looking around for. After mom and I installed new speakers in her ’97 mustang we went inside and decided to work on these a little. By about 9:00 Sunday night I had the stove side done and when I got home today I did the sink side.
I think it looks really great. Each picture is a link to a bigger one:
It looks like a lot better task lighting in the kitchen. How do you turn them on and off?
Hmmm, maybe you need to move some of that stuff off the counters, doesn’t look like there is much room to work if you are going to have a ‘big breakfast’! Remember, that was what Stacey called it when there were more than 3 dishes of food on the table.
Oh yeah, what time will supper be ready?
They each individually have switches on them. Sucks if you want to turn them all on at once, great if you want to turn one or two on. They are analog switches on them though, so if later you wanted to go back and tie them all to one switch then you could and they would come on when that power was sent to them.
All the stuff on the counter is P’s stuff that she uses to cook with. I don’t have any domain over that.
good job you got right back on that project and finished it up
Yeah, P went out with Pam Monday night and I decided to get it all up and then worry about where to plug it in later. So I got it all up. I am really happy with the result to. Not bad for $30 at Big Lots.
