Orca MSI Editor

I had to use a program that Microsoft puts out for free today. It is called orca and it can be used to edit MSIs at the database level. It is a good tool, but to get it you have to download like 300 megs of junk from MS. It seemed pretty dumb, so I am posting here so that I don’t have to do that anymore.

Download orca.msi

Thank God someone had the sense to separate Orca out from the SDK. You’ve just saved me from a 2+ hr download wait before I could continue to try to sort out the mess of an MSI that one of my suppliers has sent me.

When installing the Google Video Downloader:-
http://switch.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/gvdownloader/GVDownloader180.zip,.net framework version 1.1.4322 is required even though .Net framework v2.0 is installed http://www.brentnorris.net/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif.
