Pauline’s water broke last night and she went to the hospital and had the C-Section. Julie Ann was born around 10:35 last night and weighed in at 8 pounds 4 ounces. She was 20 inches long, with a full head of hair.
Pauline decided to have a general anaesthetic for the C-section so she came out of it sleepy and tired, but otherwise fine. This morning she was feeling a lot better and was talking and laughing and such. Dad took a bunch of pictures last night and I think he will have them up on the farm blog here soon.
I am catching a nap and a shower and then I am going back. I should have some more pictures after that.
New Pictures:
*edit*
I have picked up the domain julienorris.net so as soon as the Internet cycles through, you can type that in and get straight to this post for now.
Congratulations on the newest member of your family.
Thanks for calling and letting us in on the big event! It was great to see Julie’s first few hours out in the world. Looking forward to seeing many more too.
She is beautiful! It is great to see her pictures!!
Congrats to both of you! Here I was worried that I had missed the big event by a long time due to lack of blog checkage, but it looks like I was only off by four days.
I like the fourth picture where you appear to be contemplating the next eighteen years with a certain amount of trepidation. 😉 Pauline looks downright giddy in the next post up.
I fully expect pics of geeky baby clothes in the near future. 🙂
My congratulations to all of you on having successfully repopulated the planet. More attendees at Norrisfest!
Now, when was the repeat scheduled for again?! 🙂
